I graduated from the University of Washington in 2007 with a degree in Construction Management and Architectural Studies.  After graduation, I quickly started working in the management side of the construction business.  Although it was a promising job, I knew I needed something which would allow me to be creative and work with my hands.  At that point, I began working as carpenter for S2 Builders in Seattle.  I worked with S2 from Spring of 2008 to Fall of 2011.

Being in the construction industry I had heard about concrete being used, not only as a structural element, but as an architectural element.  After doing some research, I decided to take a class at Cheng Concrete in Berkley, CA. I've also taken the Fabric Forming Sink Mould course through Gore Design Co. in Tempe, AZ.

After taking a couple classes, I began FORM in Summer of 2009.  From 2009 until 2011 I worked both as a carpenter for S2 and for FORM.  The carpentry and business skills gained from my time at S2 carried over directly into the concrete business.  After 4 great and educational years at S2, I decided to dedicate 100% of my time to FORM in November 2011.

I continue to be fascinated by concrete and what it can produce.
